Dealership Business Development Center Associate

A background in Sales Business Development Center experience is a plus. The BDC Team Member must be friendly, patient, enthusiastic and a self-motivated team player with outstanding communication skills, and an excellent work ethic. Must be flexible to work weekends, evenings and achieve performance goals.

The Sales Business Development Center focuses on increasing the sales traffic of the dealer by making outbound sales calls and taking inbound sales calls which produce solid and specific appointments for the Sales department. The BDC acts as the essential communications link between the customer and the dealership.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Successfully maintain 100-150 leads per month 

• Adapt to changing needs of department 

• Ability to understand client’s expectations and clientele mindset. 

• Correctly handle incoming phone calls 

• Make at least 75-100 out bound calls daily 

• Generate Appointments and continuous business for store 

• Complete all daily assigned tasks 

• Complete all work assigned by manager 

• Successfully meet all goals, both individually and as a team 

• Correctly record all prospect information and all communication in company’s customer relationship management system 

Desired Experience/ Skill Set:  

• Previous automotive/BDC experience is a plus 

• Sales, Telemarketing, or Similar position. 

• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills (Bi-lingual is a plus) 

• Excellent Computer Skills 

• Excellent Customer Service Skills 

• Professional Phone Etiquette

Job Type: Full-time 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

*Respond to internet inquiries and sales calls with courtesy, accuracy, and professionalism. 

*Promptly and accurately enter all customer inquiry data into the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) System. 

*Generate sales appointments for customers to meet with Senior Management. 

*Must be comfortable making 100+ outbound follow-up calls to our prospects daily. 

*Must be comfortable selling and asking for the appointment as many times as it takes until you get the appointment. 

 

Qualifications: 

* Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) 

*Verbal and written communication skills. 

*Efficient typing, emailing, and texting skills. 

*Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 

*Strong organizational and time management skills. 

*Must be able to work a 5-day work week including most weekends and some night shifts. BDC/Internet Office closes at 7pm Monday-Sunday
